The United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) presents the coherent vision and collective results the UN system seeks to achieve in support of key priorities of the national development agenda.
Originally designed to be carried out from 2012 through 2016, the UNDAF was extended through 2017 in order to be in line with the national Government planning cycles.
The UNDAF concentrates on four thematic areas which are directly derived from the Ghana Shared Growth and Development Agenda (GSGDA) 2010-2013.
- Food Security & Nutrition: Chaired by WFP and Co-Chaired by FAO
- Sustainable Environment, Energy and Human Settlements: Chaired by UNICEF
- Human Development and Productive Capacity for Improved Social Services: Chaired by UNFPA and Co-Chaired by WHO
- Transparent and Accountable Governance: Chaired by UNDP and Co-Chaired by UNESCO
