Delivering as One
The UN in Ghana - Policy Brief (January 2017)
The UN has been working with the Government and people of Ghana since the 1960s for sustainable economic and social development, peace, and human rights.
This Policy Brief has several purposes: First, it acknowledges the leadership of Ghana in the global UN system. Second, it summarises how the UN works in Ghana and outlines what the UN is doing to contribute to Ghana’s development achievements. Finally, it sets out options for strengthening Government-UN partnership to address Ghana’s underlying development challenges as a Lower Middle Income Country and to achieve the Sustainable Development Agenda.
